Vibecoding

AI-first development end to end: AI writes the first draft, senior engineers review and harden every line — the approach that roughly halves a build's cost.

Vibecoding is AI-first software development done as a discipline rather than a shortcut. AI models write the first draft of the standard parts of a product — authentication, forms, dashboards, integrations, the code that has been written a hundred thousand times before. Senior engineers do what senior engineers are actually for: deciding architecture, reviewing every generated line, catching the subtle wrongness AI produces confidently, and hand-building the parts of your product that have no precedent. The name is playful; the review process is not.

The economics are simple to state. Generating a first draft costs a fraction of typing one, so the same scope prices at roughly half of a traditional hand-built engagement and ships in about half the calendar time. Where the approach earns skepticism is quality, and that is what the process is built around: nothing generated reaches your repository unread, tests cover the paths that can lose you money, and anything the AI handles badly gets thrown away and hand-built instead. We charge for the outcome, so shipping fragile code would be a bad trade for us before it is one for you.

Founders buy vibecoding as a service for two reasons. Some have a scope in hand and want it built at the AI-first price point — for them this page's estimator link prices it in two minutes. Others are deciding between quotes and want the honest comparison: every cost page under this service shows the same configuration priced three ways — vibecoding, hybrid, and traditional — next to what senior engineering time costs on the open market in their city.

The price does not depend on where you are. We work remotely with founders across the US on their timezone, demo weekly, and ship from your accounts — your repository, your cloud — so the work is inspectable from the first week and portable on the last one.

What it costs

A typical scope prices at $7,500–$11,000 built AI-first and ships in 5–7 weeks — here is the same scope under all three approaches, from the estimator's public constants.

What's in the price — and what isn't

Included in every engagement

  • Architecture set by senior engineers

Humans decide the stack, the data model, and the boundaries before any code is generated.

  • AI-generated first drafts, human-reviewed

Every generated line is read and corrected by a senior engineer before it merges. No unreviewed code ships.

  • Hand-built where it matters

Anything genuinely novel in your product — the part with no template — is written by hand, because that's what hands are for.

  • Tests on money paths

Auth, billing, and your core workflow carry automated tests, so review quality is checkable rather than claimed.

  • Your accounts, your ownership

Your GitHub, your cloud, your keys. The AI tooling is ours; everything it produces is yours.

  • Weekly working demos

A deployed build every week. AI-first speed is only real if you can click it.

Explicitly not included

  • Unreviewed AI output

We don't sell raw model output at a discount. If you want generated code without review, that isn't a service we offer.

  • Runtime AI features by default

Vibecoding is how we build, not what we build. If your product itself needs LLM features, that's the AI module in the estimator or the AI agent service.

  • Third-party service fees

Hosting, email, and API providers bill your accounts directly.

  • Ongoing maintenance

Post-launch support is a separate line in the estimator — one or three months.

  • Rescue of someone else's AI-generated codebase

Possible, but priced after a paid review — unreviewed generated code varies too much to quote from a form.

Common questions

What is vibecoding?

AI-first development with senior engineers in charge: AI writes the first draft of the standard parts, humans review every line, set the architecture, and hand-build what's novel. It's a process claim, not a quality compromise — nothing ships unread.

Is AI-written code production-ready?

Not on its own — that's why review is the center of this service. Generated drafts are read and corrected by senior engineers, tested on the paths that can lose money, and thrown away in favor of hand-built code wherever the AI does badly.

How is the price roughly half of traditional?

Because generating a first draft costs far less engineer time than typing one, and engineer time is most of what a build costs. The multiplier is visible in the estimator — 0.55 versus 1.0 — applied to the same scope, so you can check the claim against any configuration.

What can't AI build well?

The genuinely novel part of your product — the algorithm, mechanic, or integration that has no precedent to draw on. That part we hand-build, which is also why a build is never priced at zero engineering: the novel part is usually why the product is worth building.

Will I be able to tell which code was AI-generated?

No, and that's the standard: everything merges at the same reviewed quality, in one style, under one architecture. The repository history shows normal engineering work, because that's what review makes it.
